While entering a birth date the age is not calculated correctly. What should I do?

The age is based on the birth date and date of death of the animal. This problem is caused by short date format. You can solve this by performing the following steps:

1. Go to Configuration Screen
2. Choose Country Settings
3. Choose Date
4. Change the short date format to MM-dd-yyyy
5. Click OK
