Automated breeding checks module – Breeding program control

Category:

As a breed club or studbook organization, you are responsible for the welfare of your breed. Responsible breeding is therefore of great importance. This means that breeding combinations must meet certain requirements regarding welfare, health, and kinship. For dog breed clubs in the Netherlands, this is laid down in the Association Breeding Regulations. For Flemish clubs, this is included in breed-specific breeding programs. Other associations have their own rules regarding breeding.

Checking whether bred or to-be-bred litters comply with all the rules is a big job. But with the ‘Automated breeding check’ module, the rules of a breeding regulation or breeding program can be programmed into the database. The module then automatically checks whether bred litters comply with the set rules. Users can also check whether a combination will comply with the rules before they make it, by using the ‘trial breedingpair’ functionality. Handy for the members of your association or studbook organization!

This module allows associations, clubs, and studbook organizations to automatically check whether combinations comply with their breeding rules. This check can be performed both in advance (with a trial breedingpair) and retrospectively (in the list of breedingpairs).

Please note: this module is currently in the testing phase. We expect the module to be ready in the first half of 2026. Are you interested in using this module? Send us a message and we will be happy to look at the possibilities for you!
