1. Click the menu Management
2. Click the tab Base tables
3. Click the drop down box showing Contact categories and select Breeds
4. Select a breed or add one
You can enter this information in the field for Scientific name. You can define the scientific name as a column in the list of animals.
This goes as follows:
1. Click the menu Management
2. Click the tab Settings
3. Click the sub-tab Columns
4. Scroll on the tab Animals to Scientific breed name
5. Select the check mark for Scientific breed name
6. Define the column width (depending on the maximum length of the name: about 6 times the number of characters)
7. Click Save
