As we reported earlier, we are working hard with ZooEasy to build a breeding regulations module. With this module, you as a breed club can program the rules from your breeding regulations. Breeders can then easily create a trial breedingpair and immediately see if their planned combination meets the applicable rules. The club itself can also see at a glance which breedingpairs in the database do or do not meet the rules of the breeding regulations.
We are busy working on this, and gradually we notice that some things take a little longer than expected. Sometimes it takes a while before we receive the correct breeding rules, and sometimes we find things that need further investigation. For example, we have now analyzed more than 80 different breeding regulation rules! In addition, we receive more and more questions and requests about this module, also from abroad.
Unfortunately, thanks to all these developments, the schedule is shifting a bit further than originally thought. We hope to have the module complete by mid-2025. For now, we’ll get back to work, and we’ll keep you posted!
